My name is Abby Hearn. I graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia studying Media Arts and Design in May 2020. I concentrated in Digital Video and Cinema to develop my skills with cameras and editing software to create stories through film.

My work experience varies widely, from teaching herpetology in the mountains of Virginia, to interning at a production company in the bustling city of London, to  managing marketing at a real estate company in Richmond, Virginia. I never want to limit myself in exploring new experiences to grow as a person. I started the Master of Teaching program at University of Richmond in January 2022 to pursue my lifelong passion of education.

I’m always excited to put my creativity to use as well as create something that can possibly make a positive impact on both the local and global community. If I have one goal for my life, it is to make a positive impact on the people around me.

In my free time, I like to explore new places with my dog, Archie, bake cookies and cupcakes, and write stories. I'm always up for an adventure to expand my horizons and see what life has to offer.
