So, I've arrived in London. I'll be here for the next two months with JMU's Semester in London program, where I'll be taking three classes (Diversity and Pop Culture, London Theater, and Film Adaptations) and doing an internship at Upbeat Productions, a video production company. I'm staying in an apartment in Bloomsbury, just about a 30 second walk from Russell Square. I've only been here about three days, and I'm already loving staying in the city.
Yesterday, we walked around Bloomsbury to get our footing in the area where we're staying, as well as ventured farther out to the Seven Dials, Trafalgar Square, walked past Big Ben (which is unfortunately under construction), and ate dinner a couple minutes away from the London Eye. Later, we went to China Town and saw live music at a bar called O'Neills.
Today, I explored some of the shops in the area with friends and eventually we made our way down to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. My feet are sure hurting but it's well worth it with so much to see and do. Tonight we'll be going to a pub to meet some JMU alumni who live in London now.
That's all for now- but here's some pictures I've taken the past few days, and I'll post again sometime soon!
I am so very excited for you and so glad you are enjoying every moment!! LUV U

So happy to see you there in our old city!! Enjoy!
Looks exciting. I'm glad to see London Bridge really isn't falling down.
